Wanaka

After spending 2 nights at Queenstown, we officially starting our road trip. I arranged a stopped over at Wanaka to prevent long drive for the next day. Didnt have anything in mind, hence stopped over at a winery. The wine was normal, but the scenary was surprisingly stunning. once again my experience proved that serendipity always bring out the true beauty of traveling ( well, sometimes it was just an excuse for myself to feel better when i got lost in strange city, ha~)

tell me how not to love wine

i remember myself trying hard to cover the truck from being seen in pic.

snow mountains~ i still love it after so many years

Queenstown 4 (winter)

I actually been to Queenstown three times in total. The previous 2 rounds were purely for experiencing snowboarding. Queenstown leave a rather different impression to me on summer and winter. Here's some of the winter pictures, and me successfully conquered Remarkable ski field.

ooo~~so white...

ok, reality check, its not everything white...

what's more important, i snowboard baby~

i am missing the fluffy snow now (come to think of it, its not that fluffy)

its actually quite scary at first to ride on it

not sure why i did it, but not a bad ending photo :)

Queenstown 3

On day 2 in Queenstown we took a ride to an island for a farm show i.e. shredding sheep. My parent hailed the island as paradise but it didnt leave much impression to me, as i find it rather typical around here. But nonetheless we had fun watching the farm show as well as serounded by the smelly sheep.

i swear i did not edit this photo

lazy seagulls that took on the free ride

poor sheep

i think i looked kinda scared here, not sure why, ha...

not a bad place to live on

Queenstown 2

not much pictures were taken in town as i mentioned below, most time were dedicated to shopping. i have been to queenstown 3 times in total, and surprisingly not much pictures were taken for all the trips. personally i quite like the town, the reason behind the low collections of pictures were probably due to the fact that all the great activities are located outside the town, and hence the town just served as a resting place for us.

we tried to make them have some romantic post. kinda fail

interesting urinal bowl. Maybe they know a lot of Asian visit the toilet, ha~

Queenstown 1

this is definitely by far the favourite vacation spot that unanimously agreed by my family members. Reason? because there is breath of civilization. to put in a blunt way, the town is actually built to cater for tourists' need.

so my mum n sis enjoyed the shopping that they have not been granted for more than a week to the max. We walked around the town quite a fair bit, then went to this beautiful island for farm show. Our mood was so high that we actually wore red together and had hell lots of picture taken together. my mum love to dress us all in same colour/ style when we were all young. Cant believe that 20 years later, we actually repeat something that we all deem to be stupid. looks like holiday is really capable to bring out the youth out of you :)

its hard to be the only chelsea fan, sigh...
